Ed Brisson joins Amazing Spider-Man writing squad in last-minute change
Ed Brisson has unexpectedly joined Wonder Comics' Amazing Spider-Man as co-writer Eastern Samoa of June 9's Amazing Spider-Adult male #68. The publishing firm hasn't made a formal announcement, but Brisson's co-penning credit was included in an advance trailer of Amazing Spider-Man #68 sent out to press complete the weekend just days before its happening-sale date.
Sources have confirmed that this isn't a same-off assignment, and Brisson will be atomic number 27-writing Amazing Wanderer-Man with lifelong-time series writer Nick Spencer for the immediate coming.
"'The Chameleon Conspiracy' continues!," reads the advance description of Amazing Spider-Man #68. "Spider-Man aims to get under one's skin to the bottom of the Chameleon's plan, but the Foreigner takes his own aim."

Brisson's three-year 'single' contract with Marvel terminated to begin with this year, with the writer branching out to once again work with other publishers including with D.C. on the upcoming Batman Secret Files: Clownhunter #1. This new Amazing Spider-Man fizgig would appear to fill the gap for Brisson in the planned Marvel Predator series, which was proclaimed so subsequently postponed indefinitely just 15 years later.
